Support us in building a future where every child can thrive.

In Uganda, about 56% of children face multiple deprivations, affecting their access to education, healthcare, and nutrition (UNICEF 2023). The under-five mortality rate remains high at 41 per 1,000 live births, with only 37% receiving early childhood education. KEM Support Hub for Children focuses on community outreach, partnerships with service providers, and family engagement to mobilize resources and promote education. By fostering inclusive and safe environments, the organization aims to ensure a healthy and successful future for all children. Your support is vital for this mission.

Addressing Child Vulnerability

At KEM Support Hub for Children, we recognize that high rates of child vulnerability often expose young girls to risks such as early marriages and exploitation. In Uganda, where approximately 56% of children experience multiple deprivations (UNICEF 2023), these issues become increasingly prevalent. Our organization is committed to addressing these challenges by promoting awareness and advocacy for children’s rights to ensure their protection and development.

Combating Illiteracy

We have identified that many rural communities lack crucial knowledge about child development and the rights of children. This ignorance can hinder children’s growth and limit their access to necessary resources. KEM Support Hub for Children actively engages in sensitizing communities about the importance of early childhood education and developmental support. Through workshops and outreach programs, we aim to empower families and communities to prioritize education and advocate for their children’s needs.

Facilitating Access to Essential Services

Access to healthcare and educational facilities is a significant challenge for many families in Uganda, particularly in underserved areas. Barriers such as distance to health facilities and a lack of resources can prevent children from receiving necessary care and education. KEM Support Hub for Children collaborates with local stakeholders and government agencies to improve access to essential services, ensuring that all children can benefit from healthcare and quality education.
